One of the top ranked Kana learning games on Google is now available as an app.

For years Kana Bento on DrLingua.com has been one of the top ranked sites on Google to learn Japanese Hiragana and Katakana. I’ve been asked a number of times to add the sounds made by the Kana. I found the time and hired some Japanese voice actors, both a male and a female, to pronounce the Kana to help with learning. I also used this as an opportunity to make my first iOS app.

Kana Bento with Japanese native pronunciation for Hiragana and Katakana, which are pronounced the same, is now available on the App Store. It’s a paid app as I’d like to do more language games and still find a way to pay the bills. The free version on Kana Bento without the sounds will always be available on DrLingua.com.
